Description
Photograph of a man riding his bicycle through an old railroad tunnel along the Sandy Creek Trail near Franklin, PA. (Venango County, Pennsylvania). The Sandy Creek Trail is one of many abandoned rail lines that has been converted into a paved trail. This particular trail gives one a real taste of what PA is like. It takes one through the beautiful forest, old tunnels, over the Allegheny river on a trellised bridge, along rocky cliffs and through breath-taking overlooks of valleys and gorges. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Pennsylvania, a stroll along any of the state's trail is worth your time.
