Description

Circles - Fire. The original piece is a pencil drawn image created on a small piece of paper which was then traced and colored with a black permanent marker. "Circles" is a digital recreation of the pencil image and "Circles - Wood" is a recreation of the marker image. After the image was digital recreated, variations were made following a fire theme since the circles can look like the rings found in a cross-section of wood. The original was used by EB as part of a "Mathematics in Art" lesson with high school students.
