Description
Head shot of a common raven. Common ravens and American crows can be difficult to tell apart if you are only seeing the head. The quickest way to tell them apart is by the shape of their tail feathers. Common ravens have a wedge-shaped tail where as the American crow's tail is fan shaped. I was able to photograph this raven while visiting Wyoming.
