Midwest Winter. (Page County, Iowa) The sky changes colors as the sun sets on a frozen world of snow and ice. On the previous day there had been a major ice storm across the area. Then, on this day, the sun warmed the daytime temperatures just enough to begin to melt the ice and create beautiful strings of icicles along a farmer's fence before freezing them again at nightfall.
