Description

Photograph of the gathering of migrating water fowl on a frozen lake. (Harvey County East Lake Park, Kansas). A mixture of Canada geese, Mallard ducks, Snow geese and Greater White-Fronted geese join together as they await the arrival of spring. Many species of birds gather in Kansas during this time of year but as the lakes begin to thaw the birds will leave and fly north.
